Having fun and learning is one of my favorite things to do with the kids. When I saw these beads in the local shop I just had to get a bag!
So far we have exercised our pincer grips by picking them up and then threading on to a pipe cleaner which in turn is also encouraging some focus to actually aim for the hole in the bead.
Color matching and counting was also on our list with the beads, we even turned our rather long string into some jewelry! My 2 year old is currently collecting all the beads and watching them bounce on the tiled floor, then collecting again and repeating.
Please supervise your kids to their ability use small items that might cause chocking. My 2 year old does not put things in his mouth anymore, but I still watch him.
