The other day I took some of my popular stars to my sons preschool for the kids to enjoy and decorate and boy did they have fun!
The school has such lovely color tables too! You will definitely notice this craft was done in a different location that the usual crafts on my blog! I have a very wipeable oilcloth over my black chalk board table.
Supplies I took with include:
You will also need
- Craft sticks for Stars (see how to make craft stick stars)
- Glue
- String to hang with
Some of the children were able to use the glue bottles to stick their decorations where they wanted them. For the younger children I added a few dots of glue to the stars so they could just happily stick things to their stars.
The gems where the hit of the activity and everyone wanted more!
Pom poms were also fun and so was sticking the jingle bells on to jingle later.
I took my 3 and half year old with me for this activity and she enjoyed herself with many pom poms.
These are definately a great idea for a class as the children get to take home lovely stars for their own trees!
We hung the days crafting on the tree when we got home. I really love them!
Such fun. Invitation to decorate is always a pleasure!
