I have a big announcement for our December and Christmas plans. Are you ready for it?
We are planning on making ALL the ornaments for our tree this year! The only things we won’t be making are the tree, lights and some tinsel. So far we have 3 or 4 ornaments stored in a box for when we get the tree next week to put up.
Here are our latest creations: gingerbread men, Christmas trees and a star.
This little craft was the most fun for my 4 year old, he enjoyed using the glitter glue, sticking eyes on the little men and even making little smiley faces!
For this craft you will need:
- Color card paper (we have used orange, green and yellow)
- Our templates for this craft
- glitter glue
- small paint brush or ear bud for smearing the glitter
- googly eyes
- hole punches (We have the Hole Punches in 3 Shapes pack with heart, star and circle)
Printable templates
I printed the shapes onto the color card and cut them out. I also used my punches to get various color shapes from the other sheets of card for sticking.
Let your child have fun with his materials to create unique Christmas ornaments for your tree! Once complete string up onto your tree.
I also had some fun with the punch on this star while my prechooler was busy with the gingerbread men then passed it on to be glitter glued by him.
