We have been big on counting things lately and even my youngest is trying to form the words to count with us. These free printable number cards have a few functions and accommodates a few levels of learning.
My free printable number cards currently features the numbers 1 to 10 (I am planning a 11-20 set soon!) and the cute bug images are free from picmonkey.com.
Printable number cards 1-10!
For my 2 year old she loved the pictures and tried to count the bugs. Here I could also add the words such as bee and snail for her.
Where as for my 5 year old we have an entire range of opportunity to learn our numbers, recognize them as well as spelling of the numbers.
Can you find the cricket? There he is!!
The printable number cards also make a great busy bag and both kids will happily play and count while I am busy in the kitchen.
To make these, download the template below, print it out and cut.
You can either print these on stock cards or paper and laminate them. These cards are made to the size of this laminating pouch which ensures I don’t have to cut each and every card a second time. It also makes the cards uniform which is great for storage.

These are so adorable! I’m looking forward to using them with my toddler and pre-schooler. You mentioned that you were going to do numbers 11-20 soon, but I’m having a hard time finding them on your site. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you! =)
Nicolette Roux says
yes! I have already made them. I just need to put them up on the blog to download. I’ll let you know as soon as that is done! Thanks

Just wanted to say a huge thank you. I have a home daycare and tge ages range from 1-4 years. Your site and shared links/resources allowed me to complete over 15 busy bags in two days. Fantastic for school readiness, age diversity and those dreaded rainy days stuck inside. You have made resource planning not only enjoyable but fun.
