As a part time homeschool preschool Mom I am always on the look out for great ideas to teach my preschooler at home.
Why part time? Because that’s all I can currently manage with our busy lives of another baby en route plus 3 kids under the age of 5!
BUT being prepared and sharing what I am doing is helping me become more hands-on in my preschool curriculum with my preschooler who is finally showing interest in letters! Which in return is making me rather excited to start this part of our homeschool preschool adventure!
Must have Arts & Crafts supplies for homeschool preschool
I like to keep a basic supply list for crafting, sometimes I start out with an idea in mind sometimes it is all about free play and expression.
- craft sticks
- glue
- paper
- scissors
- paint
- pipe cleaners
Mom’s homeschool preschool supply list
Use those printable resources for your preschooler! Take a look at this list of over 40 preschool printables that I am busy printing out.
You will need a good Laminator and either a paper cutter or a rather good scissors for cutting your printables. I also recently found a great collection of sleeves for dry erase work.
Have a few resources to reference while you homeschool preschool.
These are the ones I have and love.

Don’t forget that learning should be fun too!
I love the resources in the 3-5 playful preschool, the kids are playing and learning and that is what it is all about!
Make time to read with your preschooler
A few examples of books that spark interest and can be conversation starters. I really like the books from national geographic for kids. Fairy tales are also rather nice.
My son loves Richard Scarry books!
Get out the house! Explore Nature and near by things of interest.
Go to the park, watch the leaves, pick up sticks, talk about birds and bugs you see. Have a zoo near by? Visit it! Go to the museum if you have one nearby too.
A great take along book is The Nature Connection.
Have fun and be silly!!

I’m in need of these ideas as the school year is starting again. And my sons love Richard Scarry books as well! Thanks for the book resources.

I am planning on doing more preschool curriculum this fall with my older toddler. I am having trouble finding non-religious materials though.
Nicolette Roux says
Both the resources The Preschool Journey and Ready for Kindergarten are NOT religious based. They focus on learning materials and encouraging constructive play.
I actually don’t even recall a reference to religious material at all.

Thank you! I will look into both!
