Do you have a busy bee? I know I sure do. My kids are always going full speed. While they like learning, they like things to be engaging and interesting. This Busy Bee Learning Activity Pack is full of great activities to teach children a variety of important skills, while also being engaging and fun.
Bee Learning Activities
Kids will love learning and playing with the activities in this printable pack!
This Busy Bee numbers and counting activity is great for number sense. Children will need to figure out how many pieces are in the honey comb and then match up that number on the blank box. Besides the numbers, this helps with the use of scissors also!
Another activity that will help with the use of scissors is this bee pattern printable. Kids can cut out the elements at the bottom of the page and place them in the correct space to complete the patterns. Pattern work is important for kids. It will help with visual discrimination, predictions, logical connections and more.

Scissor skills will be strengthened with this activity, too. The purpose is to match up the lowercase letters to the matching uppercase letters. This is great for young children. You can place the honey comb in front of them and they can identify the letter. You can add a challenge with it and place the upper and lowercase letters all mixed up and ask the child to find the matches.
This printable will help children practice shape identification as well as color exploration. Fill in the guide with the correct colors per shape. Then have your child color the shapes on the page based on the guide.
Grab a pencil and follow the mazes. This is fantastic for strengthening prewriting skills. Holding a pencil can be challenging for some kids and this will help. This also helps children understand how to hold the pencil so that the correct lines and shapes can be made.
This printable is the first step to setting up a fun game for kids. Print out the sheet and cut out the center of the beehive. Grab a handful of pennies, gold fish, popcorn, mini erasers or whatever manipulative you would like that will fit through the hole. Kids can aim and throw to see if they can make it into the beehive! This is perfect for strengthening hand eye coordination!
Kids will love these fun bee learning activities! There are a wide variety of types of activities so kids won’t get bored!
