Playing with play dough is one of those things almost every kid does. This week we explored play dough by seeing what different effects certain objects made in the play dough.
You will need:
- Play Dough we have no-cook playdough as well as our favorite homemade playdough recipe.
- Various toys that can make impressions in the play dough such as lego, toy cars with textured tires and even plastic animals that can make prints!
- Some toddlers or even preschoolers to experiment play with!
Begin by rolling your play dough out. I did a little show of how the objects made marks on the play dough and the kids took it from there, eagerly pressing everything gathered on the table into the play dough. Including feet!
Playdough is perfect to work on fine motor skills too.
