I very much enjoyed the process of making this card, more than the kids I fear! I have always had a passion for paper and have recently discovered the joys of origami.
This Fathers Day I really wanted to do something different. Something unique. So, I made a card for daddy with the kids. Very unique yes? haha!
Or fold the little shirt and heart and stick it into daddies wallet for a surprise!
Here is how you do it. Watch and learn from the 2 youtube videos below. They are the best ones around.
Paint your pic with the kids each stamping their hands at the bottom and attach the notes with prestick or something else that wont tear your money when you want to remove it.
The rather large non folding card can be done 2 ways. Make the shirt and heart with $20 bills for an alternative “gift card” or with $1 bills for a lasting card that you could perhaps frame?

That is a cute idea for a card. I don’t know if I’d want him to unfold the beautiful origami money though! Thanks for sharing on Artsy Play Wednesday. Pinned it (http://pinterest.com/pin/94575660897853060/)

I love both these methods! It would be fun to do both, plus the one in the wallet would be fun for him to hand to the cashier for his new gadget or gear he’d like to purchase. The look on his/her face would be funny!
