This is the second page in my no sew quiet book. The aim of this page is to encourage shape recognition and learn shape sorting.
Still need to make the quiet book? Here is the how to make a no sew quiet book tutorial.
Cut out your shapes I have 8 and used 4 on each page. Get the printable shapes (download here)
I cut out the shapes and used school glue to stick them on the felt as it comes off easily enough but has just enough hold to allow me to cut the felt shapes.
For these you can either use velcro dots with hot glue as their own glue is not strong enough to last with toddlers. OR you can cut tiny velco blocks out.
I stuck the velcro together and glued the hook side to the shapes then glued the other to the page.
Once you have the shapes stuck on the pages use a black fabric marker to draw the outlines of each shape to help guide your toddler in sticking and sorting the shapes back onto the page.
This may take a bit of practice to get the alignment correct!

Hello. Thanks for sharing. I have a question. Your 2-year-old can easily complete these pages.

When I made the book for her 2nd birthday she struggled a bit with matching them.. about 3 or so months later she had gotten the hang of it!
