Are you working on a letter of the week unit? They can be so fun and a perfect way to introduce letters to kids! Including fun crafts is a great way to help kids learn about the letter A without overwhelming them completely. This week, we’re bringing you a fun letter A craft to add to your toolkit.
Alien Letter A Craft For Kids
This is a super simple letter A craft that kids will love to make. The base of it is a letter A that is being turned into an alien. We did it the way we will describe but you can make it look however you’d like! Or, however your kids would like!
Check Out Our Letter Stamping activity.
We started out by cutting the letter out of the printable. Next we cut out circles from green felt. If you don’t have felt you could use construction paper as an easy substitute for this letter A craft activity.
Next, attach the green dots randomly. We used glue. After that, glue on some googly eyes and two different colors of pipe cleaner for an antenna. We also added some red dots to the craft for a little extra “pizazz.”

All kids who love to craft will enjoy making this letter A craft! The activity will also introduce them to the first letter of the alphabet, making this a wonderful preschool activity for little ones. You can prompt your child to come up with a name for their silly new alien friend. You may even use this activity as an opportunity to talk about space, galaxies, and the potential of extraterrestrial beings.
