This craft is super simple to make. We share how we make this particular insect, but keep in mind that children can use their own imagination and creativity to make this insect their own!
Begin by coloring the letter I with your choice of crayons or colored pencils.
Cut the letter I out.
Use your construction paper to create legs (insects have 6) and wings/antennae for your insect.
Glue the insect parts into place directly on the I cut out. Allow to dry.
Add the googly eyes to finish the face of your insect. Just add a dab of glue to each and press into place.
Once your pieces are dry, your Letter Of The Week I Insect craft is ready to be displayed! See if you can create a list of other words that start with I, or find items that start with the letter I around your home!
