Q is for Queen Letter of the Week Q Craft
You may have these simple craft supplies already in your home or classroom.
letter Q printable
crayons or colored pencils
scissors
construction paper
pipe cleaners or glitter
craft glue

Directions:
Begin by printing the letter Q template. We used crayons to color the letter Q , but you could also use colored pencils.
Cut out the letter. This is a great time to have children practice the correct way to use scissors.
Another scissor practicing part of this letter of the week Q craft is the crown. We cut out the crown free hand from our construction paper, but you could also draw the crown first and then cut it out. We chose yellow, since this is closest to gold, but you can choose whatever color you would like.
Glue the crown at the top of the letter.
Use the glitter or pipe cleaners to create sparkly accents on the crown.
Once all of your crown pieces are glued down, your letter Q craft is ready to be displayed!
Additional Letter of the Week Ideas:
Make a list of words that start with the letter Q.
Add a paper strap to the back of the Q and wear it as a crown.
