Ocean Crossword Puzzle
The first page in the ocean games set is a crossword puzzle. In this activity, kids will look at the questions or clues. There are words going across and then down and each one is numbered. The direction and number determines which line the answer should be written on. For example, 1 Down, find the number 1 and then go down. Count the number of boxes, this tells you how many letters are in the word. Read the clue and figure out the answer. Some of the clues include:
- Predatory Saltwater Fish With Sharp Teeth
- Orange and White Striped Tropical Fish
- A Crustacean With Many Legs and One Set Of Pincers
Crossword puzzles strengthen critical thinking skills. These clues might be simple or your child might need a little help. This puzzle is also helpful for recognizing numbers and directions.
