Do you have a visiting elf in your house for the holiday season? We do. Actually we have two and a dog. It’s fun, isn’t it? These elves work so hard, playing tricks on and making kids smile! This has quickly become a yearly tradition that kids will not forget to remind us about. My daughter is getting a bit older and not as excited about the elf, but the magic still exists. We still love seeing the mischievous behavior of the elf and what tricks he decides to play during the night. The elves sometimes need a break from moving around all the time. This year, we have Elf On The Shelf Joke Cards.
Elf On The Shelf Joke Cards
These Christmas joke cards will have you and your kids rolling on the floor with laughter. This can be a great bonding experience between between the elves and your children, while the elves still remain sitting still.

How To Prep Joke Cards
This is simple. Grab the scissors. Each page has 8 joke cards on them that need to be cut apart. This is essentially it. You can step it up, if you’d like, but that is all you have to do. Then the elf can grab one and hold on to it for the morning.
If you would like, you could laminate the cards. Then the elf can use them again next year.
You could also tape them up all over the room on one morning. This is sure to bring a ton of laughter!
These jokes could also be put in lunch boxes to be seen at school.
One more idea, these could be turned into a scavenger hunt. Kids can use clues that you give them to search the house for the joke card.
Examples Of Jokes?
I won’t give the answers, but here is a few examples of what the jokes are:
What do you call an old snowman?
Where does a snowman keep his money?
Why is Santa so good at karate?
Those are some examples. Kids are going to love seeing and reading these jokes that their elves gave them! There will be a house full of laughter that morning!
