This activity set is full of a variety of different activities to help with skills including counting, matching, visual discrimination, prewriting and more.
The first activity is an i spy type. There is a large box with a variety of different football objects including helmets, goal posts, etc. These should be counted and then the number written below the object in the box. This is helping with counting, 1:1 correspondence, and visual discrimination.
Next is a prewriting activity. Help the football players get the ball into the goal post by tracing along the lines. Each one is a different pattern so children will be challenged to follow the lines. This is necessary for kids to learn to write letters.
