Prepping this activity is simple. Print out the pages and have a writing utensil ready. If you are prepping for your classroom or if you would like to reuse this activity, you could choose to laminate and use with dry erase markers.
Using This Activity
There are 10 pages total in this worksheet set. The first starts with a word scramble. All of the words are school related including book and bag. Next we have an odd one out activity. There are lines of different objects and one looks different than the rest. Children can identify the different one and circle it or color all the objects that are the same. Then we have a matching game. There are a few different school related objects in two different columns. They will just need to draw a line between the matches. Next is a color recognition, by color word. They will read the word, trace the word, then color the bus that color. Try our Alphabet Book for another back to school activity.
Finally we have multiple color pages with a traceable word to identify the object. This includes: Bus, crayons, school lunch, school, backpack, and books. As you can see, this is filled with fun and engaging activities with a simple back to school theme to help keep your children engaged.
