Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday celebrated on May 5th that is now celebrated in many parts of the world. It marks the victory of the Mexican army over the French army in 1862, and is a day to remember the bravery of the Mexican soldiers who fought for their country.
Cinco de Mayo is celebrated with parades, music, dancing, and eating traditional Mexican food. Even though it’s not widely celebrated holiday in the US, it’s a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and appreciate diversity.
