Construction Vehicle Movement Cards
It is important to help children understand the importance of movement. In a physical aspect, our bodies need movement every day to stay healthy. The more we move, the better our bodies will feel. Movement is also helpful for mental health, as well. Whether this is a brain break or an emotional release, movement is wonderful for mental health.
Movement for children can also help increase language skills, attention span, emotional awareness, memory and decision making.

Each card specifies the movement, the machine children will be mimicking and shows a picture of the construction vehicle.
To prep these movement cards, you’ll first need to print. Cut the cards apart from each other. You can be done at this point, but laminating them will help extend their life.
That’s it. Then they are ready for you and your kids to use.
You could do all of them at one time or use one per session. It would also be fun to choreograph a dance based on the cards that are picked. Add some music and have some fun!
