We have been big on counting things lately and even my youngest is trying to form the words to count with us. These free printable number cards have a few functions and accommodate a few levels of learning.

For my 2-year-old, she loved the pictures and tried to count the bugs. Here I could also add the words such as bee and snail for her.

Whereas for my 5-year-old, we have an entire range of opportunities to learn our numbers and recognize them as well as the spelling of the numbers.

The printable number cards also make a great busy bag and both kids will happily play and count while I am busy in the kitchen.
