Super Easy Kids Craft For Easter
Supplies needed
- assorted sheets of craft felt in a variety of spring colors
- scissors
For your felt colors, choose soft spring colors like yellow, pink, purple, and of course white for the base of your egg.

Begin by cutting out the shape of the egg. You will use the white or soft colored felt for this. You can create a stencil on a piece of cardboard first if you wish, but we just free handed ours. Trim the edges to round it out nicely and give it an egg shape.
Take your sheets of craft felt and start cutting out the designs you will use on the egg. You can cut out strips, zig zags, polka dots, triangles, or squares. Cut out a variety of colors and shapes.
Lay the egg flat on the table. You can now take your felt embellishments to decorate the egg. Layer the decorations on to create an egg that is colorful and fun.
When you are done, simply remove the felt pieces and your egg will be plain again. You can start again, creating a whole new design.
When done, just put your felt pieces in a baggie for safe keeping!
