We are all about easy crafts this week! Although the star can be a bit tricky for kids to make the decorating sure is fun!
Today more DIY Christmas Ornaments!
To make this star you will need
- 5 Popsicle / craft sticks
- glue
- a ribbon for hanging
- glitter pens for decor
To learn how to make this kind of star please check out the instructions on our post from last week where we personalized our star with a name and googly eyes!
The below video uses JUMBO craft sticks for more surface area for kids adding decorations. The simple glitter glue version is perfect on normal craft sticks. What school glue dries as clear!

On the blue and green star we made squiggles and then added dots of another color, on the red and yellow one we just made squiggles. The glitter really sparkles in the light! Maybe Santa will bring me a proper camera to capture pictures better? 😉
I love how the color pops on the stars when they are on the tree!
Happy crafting!!
