Sign Language Printables

Your sign language worksheets come with five pages of worksheet fun. The first page will allow your child to practice sign language by number, matching numbers one through five to the correct sign.

After that, your child will learn and practice eight different sign language words, with pictures teaching how to make each hand gesture and word tracing activities for the corresponding word. How great will it be when your child knows how to make basic conversation with others who sign?!

Prepping Your Sign Language Worksheets

Prepping your sign language worksheets is a breeze. Simply print them out and ensure your child is set up with the writing tool of your/their choice. That’s it! Of course, you’ll also want to remain available throughout the activity to ensure your child has all the help needed to get the most out of the activity. You could both learn to sign together and then show off your skills to friends and family!

Development

There are many benefits of learning sign language. By using multiple senses (sight, touch, etc.), you are actually stimulating cognitive development. Additionally, these sign language worksheets can help your child with their:

Memory
Linguistic skills
Motor skills
Adaptability
Creativity
And more

Not only that, but your child will also be enhancing the lives of deaf and mute people by increasing the amount of people who speak the same language.
