Using your marker, write various coin amounts on the top portion of the egg. Be sure you allow the ink time to dry.
When writing in the amounts, you can use whole coin amounts or come up with various change amounts of any denomination.
Put the eggs back together and place in a basket or bowl.
In a second bowl, place all of your coins.
Kids can now pick an egg. They should fill it with the amount written on the outside of the egg. This might mean adding a single coin, or counting out a combo.
When you are done, try adding the coins of two or even three eggs together! You can even create a new egg with the new amount if you wish.
